Amie Hutchison

Amie grew up in Rockport Maine where she loved playing outside and exploring the rocky coastline. She attended the University of Maine at Orono and Hunter College in New York. She has 20 years experience in the non-profit sector in mid-coast Maine, including serving as Program Director at Youthlinks and Executive Director of P.A.W.S. Animal Adoption Center. Amie currently works for Trekkers, a long-term mentoring and expeditionary learning program, which she joined as as Executive Director in 2016. Amie cares deeply about community and believes in the power of play. She is a past President of Rockland Rotary and a retired roller derby skater and CrossFit coach. She lives in Cushing with her husband and their dog. She spends time on a trapeze every day.
